The Slopes is a semi-rural locality in the Hawkesbury, on Sydney’s north-western fringe. Roads here are mostly quiet country roads with higher speed limits, bends, crests and few traffic lights, so lessons focus on speed management, safe following distances and sharing the road with trucks, cyclists and wildlife. Before your test, you can also practise in busier traffic, at roundabouts and on multi-lane roads in nearby centres.
